Marc DeBevoise joined Brightcove as the CEO & Board Director in March 2022 and is an accomplished leader with wide-ranging experience in the direct-to-consumer, media, streaming, and technology industries. Most recently prior to Brightcove, Marc led the global streaming, digital, and technology businesses and operations of ViacomCBS (now Paramount Global) as its Chief Digital Officer and CEO & President of CBS Interactive. During Marc’s leadership tenure, the company became a major player in direct-to-consumer streaming and a leading global Internet company, primarily driven by the founding and evolution of its streaming services, including Paramount+. Earlier in his career, Marc held executive positions at Starz and NBCUniversal and started his career in the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications investment banking groups at JPMorgan and Hambrecht & Quist.

Emmy-winning media executive, Bruce Gersh, serves as President and COO of 11:11 Media, the next-gen media company he founded with Paris Hilton. A veteran media and entertainment executive, Gersh previously served as President of PEOPLE, Entertainment Weekly, and PEOPLE en Espanol. Gersh also led Four M Studios’ (formerly Time Inc. Productions) television production company that creates original long form shows, of which were bought by major cable and streaming networks including ABC, Apple, Paramount, ID, Food Network, A+E, PBS and Netflix. Gersh also served as executive vice president and head of digital, strategy and branded entertainment at ITV Studios America, where he was responsible for brand development and strategic revenue partnerships, including merchandise licensing, publishing, music, integrated marketing and sales integrations. Gersh has also held senior positions at Allison + Partners and the William Morris Agency, where he worked with clients to help develop new and innovative business opportunities. For eight years, Gersh worked at the Disney-ABC Television Group, which included his role as senior vice president, business development, where he was responsible for all traditional and digital media business development opportunities across ABC Daytime, ABC Primetime, ABC Studios, ABC News, Soapnet and ABC Family.

Ashley Hovey was named Chief Digital Officer, The CW Network, in April 2023. In this role, Ms. Hovey is responsible for overseeing the business strategy and day-to-day operations of the network’s digital operations and OTT streaming platforms.
Ms. Hovey joined The CW after spending five years at Roku where she oversaw the Ad Supported business for The Roku Channel (TRC), including both on-demand and FAST channel content, audience engagement, and growth. As Senior Director, TRC AVOD, Ms. Hovey built and led the Kids and Family, FAST, Music, and Espacio Latino businesses, drove overall partner strategy and monetization, and managed the multiplatform offering.
Prior to her tenure at Roku, Ms. Hovey was a senior director of advertising strategy and development at Comcast supporting the $2.5B Cable Ad business. Ms. Hovey has also worked for British Telecom and Nielsen in various business development, product and client services roles, including working with Facebook building its ad measurement solutions.
Ms. Hovey has a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.A. in Classical Languages from Pomona College.

Scott Levine is the Chief Product Officer for Brightcove, the world’s most trusted video streaming technology company. Reporting directly to the CEO, Levine oversees all product management and the engineering organization. In his role, he is responsible for setting the product vision and redefining the product roadmap for the organization. His work at Brightcove has been critical to the success of the company’s product quality and velocity. Promoted from senior vice president and head of product, Levine works closely with the company’s various departments, including data, research, marketing, and design teams to continually innovate the platform’s product and solution offerings and contribute to go-to-market strategies and partnerships that support the company’s prospects, customers and partners.

He discovered critically acclaimed talent and programming, including the Emmy®-nominated “Billy On The Street” with Billy Eichner, Prentice Penny’s Image-Award winning “The Hustle,” GLAAD-winning Best Reality Series “Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce,” and developed the Emmy® and Peabody-winning “Hip Hop Evolution” for Netflix.
Schwartz has been recognized among Broadcasting & Cable’s “Next Wave of Leaders,” The Hollywood Reporter’s “Next Generation,” CableFax’s “Top 100 Power Players,” Marketing Magazine’s “Thought Leaders” and is a member of the CableFax Hall of Fame.
